Installing the tire may require special knowledge and manual dexterity. Installing a tire is more difficult than installing a classic tube and casing set. Prepare everything for the wheel change in advance, which eliminates the time spent on the change itself and the work goes more smoothly.

Hints and tips for faster installation

To make installation easier, coat the wheel frame with Vaseline and leave the tire itself for 5 minutes in a boiling water bath or about 3 minutes (check after a minute) in the microwave until the rubber is really hot. This makes the rubber temporarily more flexible, making it easier to slide it onto the frame. You will appreciate gloves and a long sturdy screwdriver when stretching.
